Steinerweg

Steinerweg – Dachstein south face

An alpine classic is the “Steiner Buam’s ladder to heaven”, the Steinerweg through the south face of the Dachstein. The brothers Franz and Irg Steiner climbed this then daring route back in 1909. Hans Prugger has climbed the Steinerweg more than 100 times. The best conditions for a Steinerweg route. An easier variant through the Dachstein south face is the Pichlweg, which can also be booked with Hans Prugger.
