Via ferrata Eldorado Dachstein
Hans Prugger has been building via ferratas since 1999. In the Schladming-Dachstein region, Hans Prugger has already planned and built 23 via ferratas. These include the via ferratas Anna and Johann, Irg 1 and Irg 2, Amon via ferrata, Skywalk, Gjaidstein, Koppenkarstein Westgrat, the 3 via ferratas in the Silberkar Hias, Siega and Rosina, the 4 youth via ferratas on the Sattelberg with Kali, Kala, Kalo and Heidi, the Austria via ferrata Sinabell, the via ferrata Franzi on the Reiteralm, the via ferratas Franz and Peter on the Stoderzinken.
The newest, or rather youngest, via ferrata HILDE was planned and built by Hans Prugger on the Stoderzinken in 2022.
In addition to guided via ferrata tours, from beginners to professionals, a beginner’s course in via ferrata is also offered. The via ferrata certificate teaches the safe handling of equipment, teaches about dangers on the mountain and gives an insight into meteorology.
Steinerweg
Steinerweg – Dachstein south face
An alpine classic is the “Steiner Buam’s ladder to heaven”, the Steinerweg through the south face of the Dachstein. The brothers Franz and Irg Steiner climbed this then daring route back in 1909. Hans Prugger has climbed the Steinerweg more than 100 times. The best conditions for a Steinerweg route. An easier variant through the Dachstein south face is the Pichlweg, which can also be booked with Hans Prugger.
Alpine and sport climbing
