Against the backdrop of the majestic south face of the Dachstein, the sunny Ramsau plateau in the heart of the Schladming-Dachstein region stretches at an altitude of 1,000 to 3,000 meters.
A true Eldorado for high-flyers of all ages: 26 via ferrata routes and tours, including a children’s via ferrata and three youth via ferrata routes as well as “Kali’s via ferrata garden”, offer exciting climbing opportunities.

Cross-country skiing
Up to 220 km of cross-country ski trails start right on the doorstep.
Around 70 km of these are for sporty skaters.
There are around 30 refreshment stops along the trails and winter hiking paths.

Either to the alpine pasture area on the Dachstein, to neighboring Filzmoos or to the alpine pastures on the Stein with views as far as the Bohemian Forest and the Triglav massif.

For those who prefer a quieter approach to winter, Ramsau also offers a number of alternatives.
Horse-drawn sleigh rides to rustic huts, winter hiking trails through snow-covered forests, toboggan runs down to the valley – and there’s always a Kaischerschmarrn and mulled wine waiting at the end.
The forests and snow-covered meadows are ideal for snowshoe hikes on the Ramsau plateau.
