The Nationl ski tour is 25 kilometers long, groomed in places and also suitable for beginners.\nThe start is at the Dachstein glacier and leads to Obertraun.\nThe return journey is organized by bus. <\/p>\n\n
Ramsau am Dachstein is one of the most horse-rich communities in Austria.\nIn winter, many of the horses are harnessed to sleighs and take guests on a leisurely ride around the Kulmberg. <\/p>\n\n
There are around 70 km of winter hiking trails for hikers and horse-drawn sleighs in Ramsau am Dachstein.\nAlpine fat bikes, which are basically mountain bikes with extra fat tires, are excellent for riding on the winter trails. <\/p>\n\n
If you want to go off-piste, you should complete the “deep snow pass” training for a day.\nMaterial and snow knowledge, correct use of avalanche transceivers and snow profile reading are demonstrated and tried out.\nFor safe fun in deep snow. <\/p>\n\n
The welcome snow festival takes place 5 – 6 times a winter on the Rittisberg.\nAround 60 participants offer a great program on the snow and in the air.\nOf course, mulled wine and a prize draw are a must. <\/p>\n\n
