Against the backdrop of the majestic south face of the Dachstein, the sunny Ramsau plateau in the heart of the Schladming-Dachstein region stretches at an altitude of 1,000 to 3,000 meters.\nA true Eldorado for high-flyers of all ages: 26 via ferrata routes and tours, including a children’s via ferrata and three youth via ferrata routes as well as “Kali’s via ferrata garden”, offer exciting climbing opportunities.

Up to 220 km of cross-country ski trails start right on the doorstep.\nAround 70 km of these are for sporty skaters.\nThere are around 30 refreshment stops along the trails and winter hiking paths.

Austria’s national ski tour leads over the Dachstein glacier to Obertraun. Numerous other ski tours are possible from Ramsau am Dachstein. Either to the alpine pasture area on the Dachstein, to neighboring Filzmoos or to the alpine pastures on the Stein with views as far as the Bohemian Forest and the Triglav massif.
